To Boldly Go: Rocket Geeks Launch Porta-Potty 2,000 Feet Into the Sky

If you're lying awake at night wondering what would happen if you launched a Porta-Potty into the sky with a rocket booster, (and really, who hasn't?) - wonder no more!

With plenty of planning, a group of Michigan rocket enthusiasts launched this "throne thruster" nearly 2,000 feet into the sky Saturday with spectators cheering on the unprecedented feat.

"Oohs" filled the gallery as the Porta-Potty arched and with the parachute deployed, began drifting toward the parking lot where it narrowly missed a pick-up truck.

The group of 30 workers accomplished the mission as a way to promote rocketry as a great hobby.
