Reba McEntire’s 10 Best ACM Awards Moments as Host, Performer and Winner
It's easy to go on and on talking about Reba McEntire's best moments from a lifetime of ACM Awards. She's about to host for the 16th year, but she's been a part of the show since the early '80s, so there's so much to choose from.
It's easy to go overboard, and we did. This video highlighting her 10 best ACM Awards moments as host, performer and winner goes beyond 10. In fact, it ends with about 10 of her best zingers from recent years and early years — yep, that line about one woman doing the job of two men makes the list.
McEntire's most memorable awards show performance is without a doubt singing "Does He Love You" in the famous red dress, but that took place at the CMA Awards. However, her 25th anniversary reboot with Kelly Clarkson happened at the 2018 ACM Awards, so it's included. Reba even wears the same dress!
While not listed as official moments, McEntire's many looks through the years make up much of what's entertaining about this retrospective video. The big hair, the short hair, that curious space princess look — you'll find them all amongst her greatest hits from the ACM Awards.
Do you think she'll add more in 2019? McEntire returns to host the 2019 ACM Awards on April 7, and all the fun can be found on CBS at 8PM ET. She'll also perform, and while it's not been announced what she'll sing, something from her new Stronger Than the Truth album would be appreciated. That drops April 5. Her new single is called "Freedom."
