New Stuff Tuesday

Missouri native David Nail releases his third album, filled with songs that contain a bigger, guitar feel.  There are still some ballads and love songs, but Nail says that he was ready to try something different.  Nail also pays tribute to the singer that was a huge influence in his life, Glen Campbell, by giving life to the Campbell classic, 'Galveston'.  Listen for Lee Ann Womack on the album as well.

Eli Young Band releases its second CD, with the hit "Drunk Last Night" leading the way. The disc contains 11 songs and was produced by Justin Niebank, Frank Liddell and the band.  This second CD shows another chapter of the Eli Young Band's lives as a band, as husbands, as fathers and as individuals.

Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark become targets of the Capitol after their victory in the 74th Hunger Games causes a rebellion in the Districts of Panem.  Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.  Rated PG-13

'12 Years A Slave' is this year's Best Picture Oscar Winner.  The story takes place in the antebellum United States. It follows Solomon Northup, a free black man from upstate New York, who is abducted and sold into slavery.  Stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael K. Williams, Michael Fassbender Best Supporting Actress winner Lupita Nyong'o and Brad Pitt. Rated R.

A father struggles to keep his infant daughter alive in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.  Stars the late Paul Walker, Genesis Rodriguez, Nancy Nave and Shane Jacobsen.  Rated PG-13

'Cold Comes The Night' is co-written by Sioux Falls, South Dakota native, Nick Simon.  This story is about a struggling motel owner and her daughter, taken hostage by a nearly blind career criminal to be his eyes as he attempts to retrieve his cash package from a crooked cop.  Stars Alice Eve, Bryan Cranston, Logan Marshall-Green and Ursula Parker.  Rated R.

Obsessed with getting even, a man goes on a mission to find out why he was kidnapped and locked into solitary confinement for 20 years without reason.  Stars Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson and Sharlto Copley.  Rated R.
