So far in 2015, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are proving to be college football's most exciting - and perhaps most snakebit - team, with four losses, all on their opponents final possession of the game.

The latest last-minute heartbreak for the Big Red - last Saturday's 23-21 loss to Wisconsin in Lincoln. This was a game that had the Huskers holding a one-point lead, and the ball, with 1:21 left, only to see the Badgers rally to win on a late 46-yard field goal from Rafael Gaglianone.

I talked with the 'Voice of the Huskers' Greg Sharpe about the loss, which included some positives, like the nation's worst pass defense breaking up 11 throws, and fullback Andy Janovich's 170 yards on the ground.

But in the end, Nebraska's inability to get first downs when they needed them most and some untimely penalties dropped the Huskers record to 2-4.

Week three of the Big Ten Conference schedule finds Nebraska in the Twin Cities Saturday battling the Gophers, who have won the last two against the Huskers.

Minnesota is 4-2 after beating Purdue 41-13 last weekend. It was a breakthrough game for the Gopher offense, who amassed 326 yards rushing, after struggling to run the ball through the first month of the season. Freshman Shannon Brooks accounted for 176 of those yards.

UM has been inconsistent in the passing game and has really struggled to score in the red zone, converting just 77 percent of the time, 105th in FBS.

Both teams are banged up, with several Nebraska defenders either out or questionable for the game, and 11 Gophers players either out or in doubt for the game.

Kickoff is 2:30 PM in Minneapolis, Saturday afternoon. You can follow the Cornhuskers all season long on ESPN 99.1!
