Miranda Lambert to Help Brookings Animal Shelter

Country Music Star Miranda Lambert is set to play Swiftel Center in Brookings Friday, March 3rd and she's already warming up the audience with a special promotion.

Come a little early, bring along some pet supplies for Miranda's Little Red Wagon. By doing so, you'll be helping the Brookings Regional Humane Society!  Bring in pet supplies and you then are eligible to register for a chance to meet Miranda Lambert. (The winner will be drawn by 7:00 PM)

According to the SDSU Collegian, here are some of the supplies they could use.

• Dog or cat chow
• Canned dog food
• Friskies cat food
• JW Pet, KONG or Nylabone brand toys
• Soft dog treats
• Paper towels
• 13-gallon heavy-duty tall kitchen garbage bags
• Liquid bleach
• Laundry detergent
• Dish soap
• Antibacterial hand soap
• Hand sanitizer
• Clay cat litter (non-scoopable)
• Collars
• Cat scratchers
• Gift cards to HyVee, Walmart or Runnings

The program is part of Lambert's "Fill the Little Red Wagon" campaign to help animal shelters across the country.
