Minnesota’s Favorite Candy Bar Is…
I don't know much, but I do know one thing; candy bars are awesome and my dentist would agree! I've spent more money than I care to remember on repairing my teeth after years of neglect. But you didn't come here to hear about my lack of dental care, you want to know what the top five favorite candy bars in Minnesota are.
This is an unscientific study based on several minutes of easy research and validated by no one. This list is limited only to candy bars, well kinda. So you won't find delicious M&M's or tangy Nerds, only candy bar goodness.
Here are the top five candy bars that satisfy the collective sweet tooth of Minnesota:
5. Butterfinger
I have a love/hate relationship with Butterfinger candy bars. It's more of a "love" relationship because they taste so good, but they tend to stick to my teeth. Don't eat these without a toothpick nearby.
4. Snickers
Snickers, the official candy bar of that quick afternoon "pick-me-up." It's a classic.
3. Twix
Who doesn't like a cookie bar covered in caramel and chocolate? My favorite Twix was the peanut butter flavor. I haven't seen them in years, I fear they were discontinued. Let's start a petition to bring them back!
2. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Are Reese's Peanut Butter Cups a candy bar? Not really, but who's going to argue with something that tastes this incredible? I have a bag of these in the house at all times. If it were up to me, they would be a the top.
1. Kit Kat
Kit Kat is an American classic. It was my grandmother's favorite candy for what it's worth. The sweet satisfaction that comes from breaking the bars apart and then biting into those crispy chocolate-covered wafers. Few things in this world are better than that. Kit Kat has certainly earned its spot as the top candy bar in Minnesota.
