The cancellation of March Madness opened a lot of eyes and demonstrated the threat of Coronavirus is very real. But it's mid-American 'Signs' like this that truly demonstrate how REAL the Coronavirus is. See if you agree.

#1 The Sioux Fall Diocese of The Catholic Church announced there will be no masses TFN. I’ve heard of priests being drug on a sled behind a horse to get to church to say mass.  I’ve seen people on the worst weather mornings in the history of modern man somehow getting to church on Sunday morning or Saturday afternoon.

#2 Jet Lanes in Presho, canceled their St. Patrick's Day party!

#3 This one caught my attention. Things like Coronavirus take a while to really soak into the Heartland of America. This was a true eye-opener. Tiny little Gross, Nebraska, population 2 people are even modifying their behavior. It’s sometimes little towns like this that hold their ground saying things like really? Or Yeah right to events and stories affecting the rest of the world. Check out this message we received from Mary and Corey from The Nebraska Inn this morning:

The Nebrask Inn in Gross will be cooking fish and ribs on Friday, March 20th.  We are offering both curbside pickup in Gross and in town delivery to Spencer, Butte, Bristow and Lynch Nebraska as well as Wagner, SD.  Wagner deliveries can be picked up at Casey's parking lot at 6:00.  Home deliveries to Nebraska towns will be made between 6:30 and 7:00.   Call the Nebrask Inn, 402-583-9922, by noon on Friday to place you orders for delivery.  Curbside orders can be placed anytime Friday.  Just let us know what time you will be there for pickup.  Also, no prime rib served on Saturday.  Doing what we can to keep everyone happy, safe and healthy.

People travel for miles, many of them GRAVEL Miles to get to Fish Fry Friday’s at The Nebrask Inn. Those same people, you know who you are with your dusty and muddy cars and pickups are happy to know their fish, made the way only  Mike and Mary can, is just a call away.

If I were you, I’d call today and book your order. Thank you for sharing this story with your Facebook and Twitter friends.
