Kid's Light-Up Shoe Pulled From Payless Shoes Shelves After Catching Fire.

One family believes that a pair of light-up sneakers are to blame for a mysterious fire. The Houston family left their 2 year-old's cartoon themed shoes in their SUV overnight, and in the morning, the vehicle smelled like burnt plastic and the shoe, well, looked melted.

Jake and the Neverland Pirates shoes were purchased at a Payless Shoes who agreed to take them off the shelves until a proper investigation can be completed.

The boy's father suspects the tiny lithium battery is to blame.
