John Michael Montgomery + Eddie Montgomery Bringing ‘Brotherly Love Tour’ To Minnesota

It's an idea that may have been overlooked because it's so perfectly obvious, or perhaps their schedules never aligned. Either way, siblings John Michael Montgomery and Eddie Montgomery have joined forces for the Brotherly Love Tour.

John Micheal Montgomery made his debut in 1992 with the hit “Life’s a Dance”. He then went on to release a whopping thirty-six singles, including seven Number One hits on the Billboard country singles charts that include "I Love the Way You Love Me" (1993), "I Swear" (1994), "Be My Baby Tonight" (1994), "If You've Got Love" (1994), "I Can Love You Like That" (1995), "Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident) (1995), and "The Little Girl" (2000).

John's brother Eddie Montgomery rose to fame as part of the duo Montgomery Gentry, which also featured Troy Gentry. They made their debut in early 1999 with the single "Hillbilly Shoes". They went on to achieve more than twenty chart singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including the No. 1 hits, "If You Ever Stop Loving Me", "Something to Be Proud Of", "Lucky Man", "Back When I Knew It All", and "Roll with Me".

Tragedy struck the duo on September 8, 2017, when Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash in Medford, New Jersey, where the duo was scheduled to perform that evening.

Now, John Michael Montgomery and Eddie Montgomery are touring together, and their Brotherly Love Tour is coming to Minnesota. They'll be at the Island Event Center at Treasure Island Resort & Casino on Friday, November 10. The show starts at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets for the show are $42 and while the on-sale date wasn't announced when the show was announced, it will be updated through the casino's event page.

It should be a fun, reflective night and it will be interesting to see how much the brothers share the stage. One would assume that would certainly be a highlight.
