A new list of America's most extravagant, over-the-top desserts recognizes an Iowa restaurant for their INSANE breakfast option!

I don't think most of us consider waffles a dessert, but most of us don't eat waffles like the ones at Eggs & Jam! Eggs & Jam is a 90s-themed breakfast & brunch restaurant located at 1907 EP True Pkwy in West Des Moines. The restaurant has been recognized by the site Love Food for the M.C. Waffle, an extravagant waffle that rotates flavors on a weekly basis. Once you see them, you'll understand why Love Food considers them a dessert rather than a breakfast item! Here are some of the recent flavors of the M.C. Waffle:

Peanut Butter Cookie Waffles topped with Rice Krispies, Nutella, Butterscotch Chips, Chocolate chunks, Butterscotch Drizzle and Whipped Cream

Vanilla Waffles topped with Peanut Butter Oreos, Chocolate Sauce, Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter Whipped Cream

Vanilla Waffles topped with Pink and White Frosted Circus Animal Cookies, Vanilla Ice Cream, Strawberry Syrup, Whipped Cream and Rainbow Sprinkles

Devils Food Cake Waffle topped with Buttercream Frosting, Raspberries, Raspberry Syrup and Raspberry Whipped Cream

Chocolate Cake Waffles topped with Caramel Pieces, Corn Pops, Caramel Drizzle, a Star Crunch Cookie and Whipped Cream

The M.C. Waffle is available at Eggs & Jam for $15.95 under the "Suge Delights" category on their menu. Other fun menu options include Toast Face Killah, Fight! For Your Right! To Pudding!, Back That Taco Up, Yo Homes to Bel Air, and Ludabiscuits. As you can see, they take their 90s theme VERY seriously!

Eggs & Jam is open Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can check out their latest M.C. Waffle flavors on their Facebook page HERE.

Earlier this year, the Food Network named their most over-the-top dessert in all 50 states, and their pick for Iowa was the "Holy Doughly" from Dough Crazy in Des Moines. It's basically safe-to-eat cookie dough that's smashed between two cookies like a sandwich! You can read more about it HERE.
