The intersection of the two main interstates that run through Sioux Falls is getting ready for some road work that will temporarily disrupt traffic in the area.

According to the South Dakota Department of Transportation, beginning Tuesday (May 5th), a pavement repair project is scheduled to begin at the Interstate 29 and Interstate 90 interchange in Sioux Falls.

During the work, the southbound driving lane on I-29 will be closed. Traffic control measures will guide the motorists through the lane closure. All ramps will remain open during the concrete repair project.
