Sioux Falls Street Signs Take Beating During Snow Events
This is why we can't have nice things. We've got a leaner! Things can get broken, damaged, or destroyed in a Sioux Falls snow event.
We slip, slide, and don't navigate turns while trying to find the seat heaters. We're not sure who took out the lovely 59th and Tennis Lane sign in front of our radio station but it gave us something to talk about in the break room.
We still think it's Chuck but it could've been a snow plow for all we know.
To report a sign down, you can install the City of Sioux Falls Mobile App or hit the city's official website here.
The free downloadable app really is a good idea if you're a Sioux Falls resident. You can also report traffic lights, and send a message about the timing; potholes; and that neighbor's tree that hangs over the sidewalk. Very useful!
Let's look back at better days when we had a perfectly erect sign to look at.
By the way, Sioux Falls has about 900 miles of streets to care for so it's a big undertaking. Mind blown.
