Walmart, Target Frozen Waffles Recalled Due To Food Poisoning
Tons of waffle products have been recalled due to the risk of food poisoning. These recalls include brands sold in Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota.
TreeHouse Foods, an Illinois-based manufacturer, has initiated a voluntary recall of numerous frozen waffle products due to potential listeria contamination.
The affected items were sold under various store brands at major retailers including Walmart, Target, Harris Teeter, Publix, Food Lion, and Tops.
Additionally, the company produces frozen waffles for brands such as Kodiak Cakes, Simple Truth, and Foodhold.
The potential contamination was discovered during routine testing at one of TreeHouse Foods' production facilities.
As of now, no illnesses have been reported in connection with these products.
The recall encompasses frozen waffles distributed throughout the United States and Canada.
Both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency have been notified of the recall.
