It looks like South Dakota has some of the lowest gas prices in the country.

According to AAA the national average for a gallon of gasoline is around $3.40.

But as you drive across southeastern South Dakota you can spot gas station prices below $2.99 a gallon.

The state of Texas has the Lowest Average gas price at $2.87 a gallon.

While the state of California has the Highest Average gas price @ $5.13 a gallon.

As I was slicing a piece of cheese off my block of Dimock Dairy Colby cheese and boiling a ring of Bluebird Locker German sausage on the stove, I started thinking, "What foods is South Dakota known for?'

Then I realized the state is known for some of my favorite foods, are they're actually made right here in South Dakota!
