This closure is necessary to allow crews to complete a small asphalt paving project within the intersection.
Weather permitting, the work is expected to be finished within four working days.
Lane Closure: West 12th Street
Also starting Monday, May 4, 2026, the outside lanes in both eastbound and westbound directions on the West 12th Street bridge near Grange Avenue will be closed for bridge repair work.
Despite these closures, two lanes of traffic will remain open in each direction until late May.
At that point, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction for approximately three weeks.
The full project is anticipated to be completed by late June 2026.
Lane Closure: Louise Avenue
Beginning Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the outside southbound lane of Louise Avenue between 49th Street and 53rd Street will be closed for sidewalk improvements.
One southbound lane will remain open, while northbound traffic will not be affected.
This marks the final phase of a project aimed at improving sidewalks along both sides of Louise Avenue. Completion is expected by the end of May.
