Sioux Falls Convention Center Warns About Fake Event

These days it seems that there is always someone trying to separate you from your hard-earned cash or identity. This situation appears to be one of those times.

Dakota News Now is reporting that the Sioux Falls Convention Center was made aware of a fake event flyer being circulated online. The flyer advertised a "Spring Fling" vendor event that supposedly would take place in May and June here in Sioux Falls.

But the Convention Center states that no such event is scheduled for those dates and they advise people not to reach out to the email on the event poster as they think it is a fake account.

Apparently, the flyer has appeared on Facebook pages in other states too.
