Popular Sioux Falls Food Truck Opens Downtown Restaurant
A popular food truck in Sioux Falls now has a brick-and-mortar location downtown.
BibiSol Bodega and Provisions formally known as the Salas Salsas food truck is now open on Phillips Avenue in the former Mrs. Murphy’s Irish Gifts location.
Dakota News Now reports that owner Marcela Salas and her mother started the extremely popular food truck some time ago. Thanks to the overwhelming support the Sioux Empire has shown them throughout the years, they decided to open this new modern Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown, which bills itself as the most exciting thing to happen to the Sioux Falls food scene in years.
Marcela Salas told Dakota News Now, “It’s definitely been a journey to get to this point. It all takes a lot of hard work, a lot of dedication, but we’re glad it’s come to fruition now. A lot of love has been poured into this project and our business from our friends, our family and just everybody that comes in that has followed our Salas Salsas business with the food truck. So now, this is just the next chapter of our family business.”
According to Dakota News Now, the BibiSol menu features authentic Mexican dishes including nixtamal tortillas, made through an ancient indigenous process. Authentic food and unapologetic flavors.
BibiSol Bodega is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday's from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
