There is a new study that says Minnesota ranks much higher than Iowa and South Dakota when it comes to being charitable.

There are many ways to be charitable. When looking for ways to help those in need you can give of your time, talents, and resources.

It does appear that folks from some states tend to give more than other states.

WalletHub came up with a list of the “Most Charitable States for 2024”.

WalletHub determined the most charitable of the 50 states by comparing them across 19 key indicators of charitable behavior.

Their data set ranges from the volunteer rate to the share of income donated to the share of sheltered homeless.

Minnesota ranked 3rd on the list while South Dakota placed 9th and Iowa came in at 21st.
