Meet Stars Of ‘Little House on the Prairie’ In De Smet This July
Half pint is going to be stoked once she hears this news; she might even bust out her best bonnet for this one.
A few of the original cast members from the TV Show "Little House on the Prairie" will be climbing on board their covered wagons and heading to a little town on the South Dakota prairie later this month.
The city of De Smet is playing host to the screening of a new documentary entitled "Little House Homecoming" on July 11-13.

Pigeon 605 reports that to help commemorate the event, a few of the show's cast members will be stopping by De Smet to join in the celebration.
Who will be hitching up their wagon and making the trek across the prairie for the event?
Dean Butler, who played Almanzo Wilder, Wendi Lou Lee, who portrayed little Grace Ingalls, and Charlotte Stewart, everyone's favorite school teacher, Ms. Beadle, will all be in attendance.
Little House fans will have a chance to meet the actors, attend screenings of the new documentary, take part in panel discussions, get some autographs, and attend a special luncheon on Sunday, July 13.
According to Pigeon 605, Ann Lesch of the Ingalls Homestead said in a statement that “We are thrilled to welcome the cast and share screenings of ‘Little House Homecoming’ in De Smet.”
Every Little House fan knows the importance the city of De Smet played in the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder.
De Smet is where Laura and her family settled, and where Laura spent a great deal of her latter years living and writing.
