
Massive Frozen Food Recall Includes Costco And Sam’s Club
If your freezer is stocked with these brands sold at Costco, Trader Joe's, or other major retailers, it's time to check the labels.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has significantly expanded a frozen food recall, now covering nearly 37 million pounds of products that may be contaminated with fragments of glass.

The recall affects a wide range of pre-packaged frozen entrées and meals produced by a major food manufacturer.
What Triggered the Recall?
The recall was initially issued after consumer complaints flagged potential glass contamination during production.
Investigations pointed to a possible equipment malfunction at the manufacturing facility.
Out of an abundance of caution, regulators dramatically widened the scope of the affected products.
Ajinomoto is expanding its recall to include 15 more products sold under the Ajinomoto, Kroger, Ling Ling, Tai Pei, and Trader Joe's brands. These items were available at major retailers like Costco, Walmart, Kroger, and Sam's Club, and some were also sold in Canada and Mexico.
The additional recalled products are:
• Ajinomoto De Style Tokyo Ramen (Soy Sauce) with Chicken
• Ajinomoto Authentic Japanese Style Fried Rice
• Ajinomoto Authentic Japanese Style Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice
• Ajinomoto Japanese-Style Kurobuta Pork Fried Rice
• Ajinomoto Japanese-Style Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice
• Ajinomoto Tokyo Style Soy Sauce Ramen with Chicken
• Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken with Japanese-Style Fried Rice
• Kroger Chinese Inspirations Chicken Fried Rice
• Ling Ling Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice
• Ling Ling Tokyo-Style Shoyu Chicken Ramen
• Ling Ling Tokyo-Style Tonkotsu Chicken Ramen
• Tai Pei Chicken Fried Rice
• Tai Pei Ultimate Fried Rice
• Trader Joe's Chicken Fried Rice
• Trader Joe's Chicken Shu Mai
