The National Weather Service Office in Sioux Falls issued a Cold Weather Advisory for much of South Dakota, including Sioux Falls.

The Cold Weather Advisory is in effect from 9:00 PM Wednesday until 9:00 AM Friday (February 12-13).

Skies are expected to clear Wednesday night allowing the temperature to drop to near 20 below zero in some areas. Even a light wind will cause dangerous windchills.
