High school graduation, that day when all your hard work comes together. It's the day to celebrate making it through the gauntlet of high school. You did it! Enjoy the feeling...because real life is waiting just around the corner to knock you to the ground. But for now, it's party time!

Sioux Falls has four standard public high schools. There are about 400 students in each of the school's classes of 2025. They will be walking the stage and getting their diplomas at the Sioux Falls Arena in May.

Full Graduation Ceremony Schedule: Date, Time, and Location

The Sioux Falls school year will end on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, with graduating seniors finishing the school year a few days earlier. The 2025 graduation ceremonies in Sioux Falls will be on Sunday, May 18.

Sioux Falls High School Commencement Dates and Locations 2025:

All four of Sioux Falls' public schools will hold their graduation ceremonies on Sunday, May 18. All of them will take place at the Sioux Falls Arena, part of the Denny Sanford PREMIERE Center in northern Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls Graduation Times and Locations

The commencements will start at 11:00 AM and continue into the evening. Each year, the schools rotate the order of the ceremonies. In 2025, Washington High School will start the day with Roosevelt finishing the evening.

Sioux Falls graduations are Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the Sioux Falls Arena:

• Lincoln High School - May 18, 1:45 PM
• Jefferson High School - May 18, 4:30 pm
