Sioux Falls has four standard public high schools. There are about 400 students in each of the school's senior classes graduating in 2026.

Full Graduation Ceremony Schedule: Date, Time, and Location

The Sioux Falls school year will end on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, with graduating seniors finishing the school year a few days earlier. The 2026 graduation ceremonies in Sioux Falls will be on Sunday, May 17.

Sioux Falls High School Commencement Dates and Locations 2025:

All four of Sioux Falls' public schools will hold their graduation ceremonies on Sunday, May 18. All of them will take place at the Sioux Falls Arena, part of the Denny Sanford PREMIERE Center in northern Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls Graduation Times and Locations

The commencements will start at 11:00 AM and continue into the evening. Each year, the schools rotate the order of the ceremonies. In 2025, Washington High School will start the day with Roosevelt finishing the evening.
