Yankton, South Dakota Police Catch Runaway Steer On The “Moove”
A South Dakota cow escaped and was seen roaming the streets in one of the state's smaller towns. This steer really took advantage to seize the "moo-ment!"
The Yankton Police Department had a unique call about a runaway steer on the loose in the neighborhood. It's never a dull moment for our South Dakota law enforcement!

In a Facebook post late last week, the Yankton Police Department spent the morning trying to catch the loose steer. Apparently, the Yankton Police Department is no stranger to wrangling chickens. But this steer tested their limits!
I guess this steer just wanted to take a little walk and explore Yankton! This is no "bull!"
This morning, it took 4 patrol vehicles and some quick teamwork to safely corral a loose steer. Big shoutout to Officer Weber, who has now officially been promoted to Master Wrangler
It's unknown where the steer came from or how it escaped. Thankfully, this steer is safe and now at home. Yankton residents got a laugh at this unusually job for the Yankton Police Department.
Make sure you read the steer his rights

Shoutout to Officer Weber for wrangling the steer! The steer gave everyone at the Yankton Police Department a run for their money!
Thanks to the men and women in blue for all you do across the state of South Dakota. Clearly, they're ready for any challenge ahead.
