Our communities wouldn't be complete without the local talent inside restaurants or other establishments. One local Iowan is getting a huge opportunity to compete in one of the most popular cooking shows on television.
Grant Gillon is the Director of Sales at Kinship Brewing Company in Waukee. He is about to embark on a new journey as a competitor on MasterChef: United Tastes of America on FOX. According to an article from the Des Moines Register, Grant is one of the chefs from the Midwest cooking for a chance to win a white apron and the $250,000 grand prize.
MasterChef: United Tastes of America is hosted by world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay. This cooking competition highlights homegrown chefs creating their favorite signature dishes. Local chefs from all four regions are fighting for the chance to big the $250,000 grand prize. MasterChef: United Tastes of America features chefs from the West, South, Midwest, and Northeast.
In order for Grant to be in the running for the grand prize, he must receive a white apron. Grant looks like he's ready to compete!
