Sioux Falls is a community full of generous people with big hearts.

Unfortunately, there are members throughout the City of Sioux Falls who have not been so lucky in life. That's why it's so important to help those in need to warm their spirits. One organization that is looking for some extra help with supplies right now is the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House, specifically for the Bishop Dudley Center for Families.

In 2024 alone, the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House served 29 families and 56 children at the Bishop Dudley Center for Families. It just shows that the work and services of the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House are needed now more than ever.

The mission at the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House is simple:

TO FULFILL THE GOSPEL CALL TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS AS OURSELVES BY RECOGNIZING THE GOD-GIVEN DIGNITY OF EACH PERSON AND PROVIDING ESSENTIAL LIFE SERVICES TO THOSE IN NEED.

The Bishop Dudley Hospitality House in Sioux Falls opens its doors as a place of safety, wellness, community, and dignity for anyone experiencing homelessness. The staff at the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House is there for anyone who needs a fresh start in life.

Right now, the number one request from everyone who benefits from the Bishop Dudley Center for Families is a full pantry of nonperishable food and household items.

The Sioux Empire is always willing to lend a helping hand. Here are some of the items the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House needs to fill their pantry:

  • Coffee
  • Noodles
  • Applesauce
  • Macaroni
  • Crackers
  • Peanut Butter and Jelly
  • Paper Towels
  • Bath Towels
  • Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Toilet Paper
