Popular Downtown Sioux Falls Diner To Celebrate Beloved Chef
It's truly amazing when towns across Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota rally together to support one another.
A local Sioux Falls diner is dedicating a full day to honor one of the business's gems. They consider her the "heart and soul" of the diner.

Early in March, staff at The Phillips Avenue Diner in Sioux Falls made the heartbreaking announcement on its Facebook page that their Kitchen Manager and Executive Chef, Natasha Jones, had unexpectedly passed away. Staff at The Phillips Avenue Diner says that Nastasha's "warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to our team that truly made her special."
Natasha was more than a manager or a chef, she was family to The Phillips Avenue Diner and its restaurant patrons.
She was a mentor, a friend, and a guiding light to all who had the privilege of working beside her.
Our hearts are broken, and our thoughts are with her family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved her. The impact she made at the Diner and in our lives will never be forgotten. In her honor, we will continue to share the love and passion for food that she so beautifully embodied.
To celebrate what would have been Natasha's birthday, The Phillips Avenue Diner team is dedicating an entire day to honor her life.
Phillips Avenue Diner will honor Natasha Jones on her birthday this coming Wednesday, April 30th, from 7 AM to 8 PM. The best part? You can join this Celebration of Life. A percentage of sales from the day will be donated to Natasha's family. If you're unable to make it to the diner, Phillips Avenue Diner will accept free-will donations.
This could be an emotional day for the Phillips Avenue Diner family and those who knew Natasha. But it's so amazing to see Sioux Falls come together to honor Natasha's memory.
