Watch For Powerful Minnesota Singer On New Season of ‘The Voice’
The newest season of NBC's The Voice is set to premiere on Monday, September 22nd, and we already have a strong Minnesota country singer set to take the stage.
All the way from Kasson, Minnesota, Cori Kennedy shared with her family and friends that she will be on Season 28 of The Voice. This small town girl can't wait to take on the big stage!

In a Facebook post, Cori Kennedy says she was one of the hopeful singers who auditioned in front of judges Michael Bublé, Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg, and country legend Reba McEntire. Not only did she audition for the national singing competition, but Cori also couldn't believe she "got to breathe the same air as" the A-List judging panel.
Cori Kennedy has been teasing her appearance on The Voice on her Instagram page. No date has been set for when we could see this Minnesota singer take the national stage.
This rural Minnesota singer and songwriter has drawn "inspiration from my roots, my family, and the heart of my local community." You can tell that her passion for music runs deep, thanks to her Midwestern and country upbringing.
Whether it is a melody sparked by a family gathering or lyrics inspired by a hometown fair, my music is a reflection of where I have been and where I am going. I am just getting started, but I am excited to grow, connect, and bring my stories to stages near and far.
Take a listen to one of Cori's original songs called "Lawless."
Season 28 of NBC's The Voice will air every Monday and Tuesday at 7 PM on KDLT. We can't wait to watch the new voices this season, and we'll be on the lookout for Minnesota's own Cori Kennedy!
