Jake Owen, Charles Kelley of Lady A Play Private Sioux Falls Show
The Dakotas Tour is a professional golf tour that is played in parts of South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and North Dakota. There are 12 events total during this year's tour. One of the most anticipated events of The Dakotas Tour is the annual First Dakota Pro Am Jam.
Not only is it a weekend of friendly competition between professional and amateur golfers at the Country Club of Sioux Falls, but it's also a weekend full of live concerts. Yep! Live music! Some of the biggest names in music perform exclusively for the players and members of the Country Club of Sioux Falls during this private event.

The 2025 First Dakota Pro Am Jam at the Country Club of Sioux Falls featured three major country music acts this past Friday and Saturday. Grammy Award-winning group Brothers Osborne returned to Sioux Falls on Friday. Country Singer of another Grammy Award-winning group, Charles Kelley of Lady A, kicked off the party on Saturday, and Country Singer, Songwriter, and Producer Jake Owen wrapped the weekend concert series.
First Dakota Pro Am Jam is one of the hottest tickets to come by, and I was fortunate to attend the Saturday fun and get the exclusive highlights from this electric night.
Check out all the wild and energetic moments from these concerts!
Charles Kelley is one-third of the country group Lady A. This was Charles' first solo appearance in the Sioux Empire.
Don't worry Lady A fans! Charles Kelley still loves being part of the band. But he has always wanted to create a "yacht rock" style album. Charles Kelley's new album is called "Songs For A New Moon."
"I Run to You" was Lady A's first number one single that was released in January of 2009 as part of the group's self-titled debut album. I might have been singing to this one...and dancing.
After a little break, "You Look Good" was Lady A's comeback hit in 2017. It was released as the first single of their 7th studio album. You know I was dancing to this one too!
"Need You Now" I would argue, is Lady A's signature song. This was the second single from the group's second album. Everyone at the Country Club of Sioux Falls was singing along with Charles!
Charles ended his set with his rendition of "All Night Long (All Night)" from Lionel Richie. Sioux Falls was really ready to party "all night long" after this one.
Sioux Falls was waiting for this headlining show...Jake Owen made his first Pro-AM Jam appearance at the Country Club of Sioux Falls!
Jake Owen opened his show with his 2019 song "Down to the Honkytonk." Right away, Sioux Falls was singing along!
You can feel the energy on stage with Jake Owen and his band. They were loving the Sioux Falls crowd. This song was Jake's 2009 song "Eight Second Ride."
Jake Owen told the crowd that his dad raised him on old school country music. So he decided to call out all the "trashy women" in the Sioux Empire with this fun cover of "Trashy Woman" from Confederate Railroad. They were just at Lallycooler too!
Jake Owen has a lot of fun songs for the beach, especially his 2014 hit song "Beachin'." This song became his third number one hit.
Fun fact about Jake Owen: He is a HUGE golfer. He loves the game, whether he's playing or watching the world's best players. He even said he would be a professional golfer if it weren't for a career-ending injury.
We don't know if any of Jake Owen's exes are from Texas. But we do know he loves playing some King George Strait.
"Alone With You" has to be one of my favorite Jake Owen songs ever. This 2011 song was his second number-one hit.
Jake Owen says that out of all country artists, he has a special place in his heart for Alan Jackson. So of course, we're rocking that jukebox!
Jake Owen did play an encore at the First Dakota Pro Am Jam at the Country Club of Sioux Falls that included his major hit song "Barefoot Blue Jean Night." We just left before that song because of early morning golf ahead for Sunday.
Thanks to the Country Club of Sioux Falls and everyone behind the First Dakota Pro Am Jam for always making this a fun weekend in Sioux Falls!
