Hooray! Minnesota Verne Drive-In Announces 2024 Opening Date

Calling all movie lovers in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa! One of the Sioux Empire's most historic drive-in theaters announced its opening date for the season.

Even though there is some snow predicted in our area this week, doesn't mean we can't get excited about enjoying summer nights at the Verne Drive-In!

Located just east of Sioux Falls, going to a movie at the Verne Drive-In in Luverne, Minnesota is an annual tradition for families and friends. Some of my best movie memories with my family are at a drive-in theater. Now families can make more wonderful movie memories at the Verne Drive-In beginning this April!

You can see which movies they're playing each week by keeping an eye on their Facebook on Tuesdays. Gates open at 7:00, show starts around dusk.
