Sioux Falls family and South Dakota officials are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man. No one has heard from him in almost a week.

35-year-old Dominic Leiferman of Sioux Falls has been missing since last Friday, February 7th. Family and friends across South Dakota have been asking for the community's help through Facebook to help find him.

At this point of the search, Dominic could be anywhere around the Sioux Empire. Specifically, family and loved ones suspect that Dominic could be in Sioux Falls or around the Lake Herman area.

Dominic Leiferman is described as a 5'10'' man with brown hair and eyes. His latest information is found on the Missing Persons South Dakota website.

Family and friends are really concerned about Dominic. Allegedly, a family member found a note from Dominic that left an uneasy feeling for everyone in his life.

Police are looking for a male to perform a Welfare Check. Family found a note at a residence, and are concerned about the subjects wellbeing. Said to be driving a Maroon Dodge Caravan Sport (SD-1GE144), possibly in the Lake Herman area.

Dominic's family and friends want him to know that he is loved and needed in their lives.

There is limited public information about Dominic's disappearance and the events that led to it. Any resident with leads or information about Dominic’s whereabouts is highly encouraged to contact the City of Sioux Falls Police Department at 605-367-7000.
