South Dakota has been cheering on its hometown hero Rowan Grace through her journey on NBC's The Voice. After her first live performance on TV this past Monday night, Rowan Grace set out to prove to the nation that she deserved to move on to the Top 13. The question is...did America vote to keep her in the competition?

During Tuesday night's live results show, Team Blake was the first group to find out who America voted to see in the Top 13. Ultimately, Rowan Grace did not get the top two votes of the group. However, her new pal Blake Shelton showed how much he is devoted to Rowan and her singing abilities.

Since Rowan did not earn enough votes to move on to the Top 13, her coach Blake Shelton was faced with a tough decision. He had the chance to either save Rowan Grace or her fellow teammate Bryce Leatherwood. Whoever Blake did not choose, that singer would have to earn America's vote during the "Instant Save" round by performing another song.

Blake talked very highly of both Rowan and Bryce. Quite frankly, I was convinced that he was going to pick Bryce. Blake admired that Bryce "is country through and through." To my surprise, Blake decided to once again save Rowan Grace! This talented South Dakota teenager is now officially part of The Voice's Top 13 group moving into the live shows next week. Wow!

It was truly something to see Rowan on TV during the first elimination. She really looked nervous as she held her breath. From Blake's emotions and facial expressions, this was one of the harder decisions he has make so far during this season of The Voice. But I believe Blake might have a little soft spot for this South Dakotan.

We look forward to watching another stellar performance from Rowan Grace next Monday on The Voice. You go girl!

8 Celebrities You May to Run Into In South Dakota

You may not think of South Dakota as the crossroads of celebrity life. That's a good thing, we kind of like to live under the radar here on the upper plains.

But, living in South Dakota we are just a few degrees away from stardom. Not just because the author of the Little House on the Prairie books is from here. Or because every time Tom Brokaw shows up on TV, someone will say, "You know he's from Yankton."

We may not have as much of a chance at a celebrity sighting in South Dakota as we would in Minneapolis, but there are some famous personalities you may run into in the 605.
