There are numerous concerts coming to Sioux Falls and the Sioux Empire this year. One of the first shows at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center just rolled into town on Friday night. Let's just say Sioux Falls was dancing with all their "hillbilly bones" intact.

Country music singer Blake Shelton lit up the stage at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. The crowd for the sold-out show was electric! Not only were Sioux Falls country music fans excited for Blake, but also his friends, newly Grammy Award-Winning Artist Carly Pearce and rising country singer Jackson Dean.

Sioux Falls was only Blake's second stop of the Back to the Honkey Tonk Tour. You can tell that Blake was really excited to be back in the state of South Dakota! There were even some surprises along the way including his research of Sioux Falls history and...a sweet video from his wife Gwen Stefani.

Check out some of Blake Shelton's best moments during the sold out performance on Friday night.

Jackson Dean performed a new song titled "Heaven's to Betsy." He hasn't released this song yet. But you can tell how much this song means to him.

This song is Jackson's debut single "Don't Come Lookin'." It's from his "Greenbroke" album. The Sioux Falls crowd was excited to hear this song.

The last time Carly Pearce came to Sioux Falls was for the Sioux Empire Fair. She was the opening act for Old Dominion. Unfortunately, she never finished her performance due to a significant thunderstorm. The show was postponed and she did not finish her songs for Sioux Falls...until now!

One of Carly's biggest inspirations is the great Loretta Lynn. Carly sang a song she wrote for the "Coal Miner's Daughter" singer titled "Dear Miss Loretta." Such a great song for the late country singer!

Carly's song "Next Girl" is a great break-up song that highlights an ex-relationship moving on to...the next girl. You can't help but sing along!

"Never Wanted To Be That Girl" is a song Carly sings with her friend Ashley McBryde. This song just won a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Carly tells Sioux Falls she is so proud of this song, and loves that she won her first Grammy with Ashley.

"Cowboy Take Me Away" is one of the biggest country hits for "The Chicks" (formerly known as The Dixie Chicks). Carly recorded her own version of the song. It's like she knew The Chicks were coming to town this fall.

Blake took the stage soon after Carly's set. He opened with "Come Back As A Country Boy." He got the crowd moving right away.

Blake did not miss a beat during the entire show. He always keep the audience on their feet! "All About Tonight" is from Blake's Red River Blue.

The crowd was singing along to this 2014 hit. You could probably hear the song throughout the city.

Blake brings back Carly Pearce on stage to perform "Lonely Tonight." Blake's original duet partner for this song is Ashley Monroe.

In a pre-recorded video, Blake's wife Gwen Stefani sings her part in the couple's hit "Nobody But You." It was so sweet to see Blake look at the video screen!

Blake performed some of his early songs including "Some Beach." With more snow on the way, we are all looking forward to being at some beach.

Another song from Blake's early days include "Ol' Red." This is one of my favorite songs from Blake!

Blake took the audience back to 2001 with his first country hit "Austin." He also paired it with some fun Sioux Falls trivia from 2001 before the song.

Blake Shelton was truly in "God's country" on Friday night. This song highlights the awesome evening.

This was another great night for country music in Sioux Falls! Thanks for a fun evening, Blake! It was a party!
