The Not-So-Quiet Way Jelly Roll Paid Tribute to Toby Keith at WWE SummerSlam [Watch]

Jelly Roll had Toby Keith on his mind prior to his tag team match at WWE SummerSlam last weekend.

The singer and Randy Orton faced Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul in Saturday night's (Aug. 2) penultimate match. We won't spoil the outcome yet, other to say that both Jelly Roll and Paul got their hits in.

Before the match, fans on social media noted a reference to the late Country Music Hall of Famer.

• Toby Keith died on Feb. 5, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.
• Jelly Roll has paid tribute to him on several occasions since, including last summer when he struggled to get through "My List."
• Keith also enjoyed wrestling and appeared at TNA and WWE events throughout his career.

Jelly Roll's Toby Keith Tribute at SummerSlam

Jelly Roll's wife posted the moment to one of her TikTok accounts. Video shows her getting hyped for his performance. During the buildup to his entrance, fans hear Keith's hit song "Who's Your Daddy?" over the loud speaker.

"When you get to watch your hubby live out his childhood dreams," Bunnie shares.

Jelly Roll Vs. Logan Paul Video Highlights

The wrestling match was an exciting, back-and-forth affair that featured the singer dishing out as much hurt as he took. Instagram video highlights show him choke-slamming, clothes-lining and body slamming Paul at various points.

He also took a Frog Splash from Paul, through a table.

Ultimately, Paul and McIntyre got the better of Jelly Roll and Orton but who knows? Maybe there will be a rematch.

That's not likely to happen soon however. Jelly Roll will spend the rest of the summer on tour with Post Malone. Together they're traveling through Europe before playing in Australia and then Mexico in the fall.
