Iowa Native Achieves Childhood Dream of Touring With Shania Twain

Shania Twain, one of the biggest names in music, will have an Iowa native join her on her 2023 tour.

Shueyville, Iowa native Hailey Whitters will be the opening act on part of Shania Twain's tour.

On Friday, October 28th Shania Twain dropped a major announcement. Not only is she releasing a new album, but the 'Main! I Feel Like A Woman!' singer will be embarking on a global tour next year.

'Queen of Me,' the title of her new record (and her world tour) is set to be released on February 3rd, 2023. When Twain made the joint announcement on social media Friday morning she shared how excited she is for this new chapter.

"Life is short and I want to be uplifted, colorful, unapologetic and empowered. I want to carry a clear message, particularly as a woman, to always remember my power and I hope the songs are a reminder to you, of that same power inside you!''

Tickets for the nearly fifty-stop tour will go on sale on Friday, November 4th.

An Iowa native is set to join Twain on a leg of the tour. Shueyville, Iowa native Hailey Whitters announced the news on social media as well. The rising country star will be opening for the five-time Grammy Award winner at nine of her shows.
