I’ll Admit It: I Don’t Understand Meth
Three people were arrested this week in Sioux Falls when drug agents executed a search warrant at a home near Augustana College.
The case involved the making of methamphetamine, and police say they found components for manufacturing the drug.
Police say the meth-making they find these days involves what they generally call the "one-pot" method. That's all I know about it, and that's all I want to know.
I've heard once you've tried meth you either want or need it again, and that doesn't sound like a very good decision to me.
It's illegal, and by all accounts it's harmful. You hear of meth-heads having bad teeth and health problems, and I can't imagine chasing a high that would do something like that.
Heaven knows, I have enough health issues as it is, issues I didn't volunteer for, and I don't understand making a destructive choice like meth.
Sure, I'm naive in that regard, but I prefer to keep it that way.
And I don't want to know any more about meth than what I've already heard.
