I Finally Tried an Indian Taco and It was Awesome!

How on earth did I make it as many years on the planet as I have, without trying Indian Fry Bread? That was the question I was asking myself recently.

I was at Flandreau Rodeo Days for day one of their yearly rodeo across from Royal River Casino. I was just about to head home when I noticed a food stand that was serving Walking Tacos and Indian Tacos. I ordered the Indian Taco and boom, finally, my palate was introduced to this awesome food.

Sure, it's just like a taco, but it came to me on a huge portion of Fry Bread. Leah was the cook, and she had a big smile on her face when I returned to the food tent to pass along my compliments to the chef!

I have other friends who have talked about it, but I had never actually tried it. Dawnet from the Wagner area has told me about it numerous times, but till the other day, I hadn't tried it. Two thumbs up to Leah and their Indian Taco Food Tent at Flandreau Rodeo Days in Flandreau, South Dakota.
