To help pay the bills between gigs, an out-of-work actor in Los Angeles is taking dog walking one step forward - he's now offering a 'People Walking' service.

Chuck McCarthy says it's based on the idea of dog walking.

"I didn't want to pick up dog poop, and that's kind of what you're getting paid for, really, for dog walking."

For 7 bucks a mile, he'll show up at your house, engage you in conversation, and take you for walk. He says it's good for the brain, and good for the body to get out there and move now and again.

"This is something that people need, they need to get out. They need to experience human interaction, get off their phones."

If you're saying to yourself, "That's sad, that people have to pay him to walk with them;" maybe the saddest thing of all is - business is booming!
