Headliner Announced For 2022 Worthington Minnesota Music Festival

It's going to be a great weekend of music and windsurfing at the Worthington Windsurfing Regatta and Music Festival.

The festival is from June 10-12, 2022 along Sailboard Beach on Lake Okabena. This year's event features five live music acts across multiple genres from country to rock to blues and funk.

Country music star Easton Corbin will headline the festival and will be performing at 9 pm on June 10. Corbin was named the Top New Country Artist in 2010 by Billboard. With two number one hits and seven top 10 singles, you are sure to be entertained.

“We are excited to release the full 2022 Regatta music lineup,” said Josh Miller, president of the Windsurfing Regatta and Music Festival Board of Directors. “Barry Roberts, our music committee chair, was able to put together a number of great options for the board to look at and go after. This music lineup should attract a lot of people from around the area and make for some great entertainment.”

Maiden Dixie returns to the festival and will open for Corbin on Friday night at 7 pm. Maiden Dixie is a quintet that blends country, rock, and blues and features Worthington native Wesley Berger on bass and vocals.

Rounding out the event on Saturday is rock cover band Legacy of the Loud, country artist Brad Morgan, and rock/funk band Viva Knievel. 

Admission to the Worthington Windsurfing Regatta and Music Festival and the live music is free.

“We will have country, rock, and some of the best cover bands in the Midwest that do a little of everything,” Miller said. “See you all lakeside, June 10-12 at Sailboard Beach.”
