‘Harry Potter’ Movies Will Return to Theaters for 20th Anniversary

Very exciting news if you are a fan of the Harry Potter franchise! All nine movies will be returning to the big screen in celebration of the first book's 20th anniversary! Now I know what some of you are thinking, "no, it was originally released as Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone in the UK in 1997!" This was the release date in the U.K. In the U.S., the book was renamed, repackaged, and was released over a year later, on September 1, 1998.

The are calling this event, "Wizarding World XD Week" and will take place at all 141 Cinemark XD locations from August, 31st through September 6th. Tickets go on sale Friday August 3rd at Cinemark.com. Ticket prices range from $5 per movie or you could get the festival pass where you can see all eight movies and Fantastic Beasts all week long for just $25.
