‘Frozen’ Toys Will Rule Your Kids’ Christmas List This Year – If You Can Find Them

Chances are, if you have kids, there is something 'Frozen' in your home, and it's not in the freezer.  With the success of Disney's hit movie 'Frozen', the toys that go along with it are predicted to be this years hottest toys, according to Adventure Publishing Group’s Toy Insider Hot 20 list released Wednesday.

Thursday is the frightening 3 months til Christmas mark, and Disney will, undoubtedly, be on your kids' radar. Hopefully, this year, Disney is better prepared to handle the rush for some of it's most popular toys. Last year, my wife and I found the hard-to-find 'Frozen Ice Castle' on eBay for $500 after a search in local toy stores proved unsuccessful. We, of course, didn't buy it. Our daughter also wanted a Princess Elsa dress. Again, sellers on eBay and Amazon were starting them at $1,000!

The most sought after “Frozen"-themed items on this year’s list are a singing, moving doll Elsa, as well as the Cool Tunes Sing-Along Boombox -- a small karaoke machine for the movie's soundtrack. Both items retail for about $35.
