Every month, the Salvation Army and Feeding South Dakota facilitate the Senior Food Commodity Box Program where eligible seniors, aged 60 and older, can receive a food box for free each month. One of the program's partners, Comfort Keepers, will be collecting non-perishable food items for the boxes. Donation boxes will be located in all Sioux Falls Hy-Vee food stores, Fareway Foods, Franklin Food Market, The Inn on Westport, Senior Companions, AseraCare Hospice, and Active Generations.
