Casey Donahew Band to The District

This is cool. A few years ago here at Kickin' 100.5, we added a show [Saturday Nights 7:00 PM-12:00 Midnight] called Radio Texas Live with Buddy Logan. I kind of had a hunch that this Texas Country, or as some would like to call it Red Dirt Country might be something Kickin' Country was interested in. Seems they are because The District is bringing back,  The Casey Donahew Band.

I am a huge fan of The Casey Donahew Band and the stories they tell. Here are my top 3 favorite songs they do!

3. Talk about a real-life real story. Check out, White Trash Story. Great names like Carl Wayne are in the song. Listen to it.

2. And this was a tough one. But when I'm up on the treadmill I love listening to this song. It's good for a full 3 minutes at 7.4 on the turd mill!  Check it out!

1. My favorite though is Small Town Love.  If you watch the video you see a pretty awesome statement. 'The ones that want to leave are always the first ones back.' If you're back in 'your' small town, there's a pretty big part of me that's jealous. Soak this one up and see you Friday night at The District! It's gonna kick ass!
