Big Bird Spotted in Sioux Falls

Not that yellow talking bird from the children's show, although that would have been cool if he were spotted walking down Phillips Ave.

I've always lived in a city so I don't get to see all the wonderful creatures that inhabit God's Country as often as I would like.

Imagine my surprise when I was driving on 33rd Street in Sioux Falls the other day and I spotted this huge bird eating its dinner on someone's front lawn.

I parked on a side street to watch and stayed about 50 feet away as to not scare it off.  The digital zoom on my smartphone wasn't up to the task of getting a clear picture.

My wife thought it could be an eagle, possibly a rare Golden Eagle, or an immature Bald Eagle.  JD Collins thought it was a hawk.
