Is there anything more loving than a pair of swans? Let's start off with a fun fact... Swans weren't always in Iowa. It is reported that as early as 1935 we started to move them into Iowa.

As of 2022 the DNR has stated that there are possibly 12 separate mountain lions confirmed in Iowa based on staff reports and tangible evidence. After looking at the photo sent to me, I'd believe that thig is one of those 12.

Kids also might think it's funny to "swatt" their friends without realizing just how terrible it is. This new law has now added jail time to swatting.

Iowa is pretty calm when it comes to dangerous animals. Still, there is enough accidents, and even deaths in Iowa related to a select number of animals to at least warrant a list to be made.

Theft has been a hot topic for retail stores recently. Many have gone to locking important, and not so important items up. Things are changing though.

As an Iowan I already disagree with this list before even seeing it. I love the state I live in. After watching said video however I can agree that there is some issues here. Though I'd argue we are nowhere near the worst...

Here is something crazy, the first three names on this list are all Robert. More than half of this list are men named Robert.
