Thanksgiving break will begin a day early for students at Augustana University in Sioux Falls.

Monday (November 25) afternoon, the school canceled all classes for Tuesday (November 26) due to a winter storm that is approaching the area.
The latest National Weather Service forecast calls for a Winter Storm Watch to go into effect Tuesday at 9:00 AM and remain in place until Wednesday (November 27) at noon.
The storm could bring with it up to eight inches of snow and wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour.
Following the Thanksgiving break, classes will resume at Augustana Monday, December 2.
