7 Words That Are Strictly South Dakotan

• Flummoxed: What happens when open the fridge and try to figure out which Cool Whip container actually has the Cool Whip in it.
• Comeuppance: What your mom gives you when you get too big for your britches.
• Fine & Dandy: What your wife sarcastically says when you explain why you are getting home late after playing Bags at the bar. Also may be the name of your two horses.
• Hinky: Explains your malfunctioning Pizza Pizzazz.
• Chislic: Deep fried cubed meat such as venison, mutton, or beef. Goes great with Bush Light.
• Kuchen: It's the state dessert and it's yummy.
• Whistle pig: A prairie dog. Should be the South Dakota state animal. Not so yummy...I'm told.
