An 18-year old Lennox man is facing a number of charges after leading police on a high speed chase through Tea Thursday morning.

Justin Bentley faces charges of aggravated eluding, grand theft, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and reckless driving.

Police also believe Bentley was involved with a burglary at a Cenex in Lennox and is suspected of stealing a handgun.

Tea Police placed tire spikes on 272nd Street heading into Tea and blew Bentley's tires. The chase continues at 25 miles an hour after his tires were blown until his car eventually stopped.

Bentley was found with the stolen handgun in his vehicle and later learned of the burglary at the Cenex where he was first approached on a probation violation.

Bentley is being held without bond pending his initial court appearance.
