Mom & Dad, is college on your mind for your high schoolers?

With the price of college continuing to climb parents and kids should take advantage of all the assistance they can. Here's one way to help out that college education. And, it comes right out of Sioux Falls.

The Helpline Center is pleased to be accepting applications for the Citi Youth Leadership Awards, a scholarship program for Sioux Empire area seniors involved in community service.

• The basic requirements for applicants are:
  students need to be a senior at a Sioux Empire high school during the 2015-2016 academic year
• students need to have contributed at least 100 hours of service within the past 12 months

Applications are available at school guidance counselor offices, at www.helplinecenter.org or by dialing 2-1-1. An application form is also attached. Students should submit the completed application to the Helpline Center office no later than Friday, March 18, 2016.
