So why do people go to car races. Many would say to witness driving skills. Some might say to hear the power of the cars. Reality would probably point to people wanting to see the wrecks.

Week after week crowds flock to racetracks. Tracks might be as close as Huset's in Brandon or may include a weekend getaway to Kansas City to see a NASCAR Race. People around the world love racing.

Fans at a Rally Car Race in Italy recently had quite a scare. They were perched on the side of a serene country highway watching the fast paced action.

Huffington Post ran the story recently:

Several spectators ran away as the car flipped over and nearly slammed into several others who had been sitting near the road and barely had time to react.

The problem? Their 'perch' was a little close to the action. Spoiler alert. They all walked away with no injuries.
